Before Flashpoint, her mother was the Golden Age Black Canary and was a member of the Justice Society and All-Star Squadron, so she just took after her. I'm not sure how she became the Black Canary in the New 52.

How does Dinah Lance in the comics become the Black Canary, because so far it doesnt seem that the transition will be easy for "Laurel" from the series...

Not usually. But I LOVED Wolverine and the X-Men, X-Men, and all the spider-man tv shows. But the live action green arrow in smallville was sick!
